Cutest Halloween Ever

We also had a great Halloween the weekend after Laney's big party. She was the cutest little cat in all the land! And we did go Trick-or-Treating...and made it all of about 3 houses.

So I'm kind of late (make that very late) posting about Laney's first birthday party! We held it on Saturday, October 23 at my in-laws house and we had a blast. I spent months making the decorations for the Alice in Wonderland-themed party and even though she won't remember it per-se, I'm glad I did! It was so much fun for me. I can't wait for Laney to look back on the pictures and see the decorations and all of the adults absolutely doting over her!

We were so thankful to have many of our lifetime friends and family members there to celebrate Laney's year of life and our year of "making it" as Mom & Dad. Hopefully what we have lacked as parents due to our inexperience we have made up for in absolute adoration and affection. I can't believe she's ONE. My life began a year ago. We love you, Laney.
